The impact of your contribution
As a school district partnering with the Georgia Public Education Scholarship Fund (GPESF), you can receive funding dedicated to supporting students without requiring an additional out-of-pocket contribution from participating taxpayers.
Through the Federal Tax Credit Scholarship Program, eligible taxpayers may now direct up to $1,700 annually towards scholarships supporting qualifying expenses for Georgia K–12 public school students.
These funds may provide students with scholarships for a range of approved academic and educational expenses, including:

Any public school district or public charter school may apply to partner with the Georgia Public Education Scholarship Fund.
Under the law, scholarships provided through the program are intended to constitute tax-free income for recipients and their families.
Scholarship eligibility is limited to students whose family income is below 300% of their area median income (AMI)
The Georgia Public Education Scholarship Funds works with schools and systems to identify eligible opportunities that best meet the needs of their students.
